FRANCESCO VALMA: The painting of this artist is realized with a language that it is necessary to decipher in order to understand. Like an ancient alphabet that comes from the roots of existence: a writing that wants to penetrate the most secret fibbre of life, of our way of being; he also wants to describe moments in which darkness becomes dense in the soul, almost as if the sun were to become black due to an impressive eclipse: those red marks are the blood that stirs in ancestral fear of never seeing him again. But there is radiant light: here the writing becomes really intense, it takes on the graphic aspect of the electrical impulses of the heart that returns to pulsate, to be reborn after dark.
