The Faentini Watercolorists, on the second anniversary of the death of their founder and first President Silvano Drei, with the Patronage of the Municipality of Faenza, remember Silvano with an international project of postal art in postcard format theme "Landscapes", curated by Roberta Savolini. The exhibition of 315 postcards received by 242 artists of all ages from 33 countries of the world (some Italian and Russian classes participated as well as some guests of a Ligurian Protected Residence) will open Saturday 6 April 2019 at 18.00 at Palazzo Esposizioni in Corso Mazzini 92 in Faenza, in the presence of Senator Stefano Collina and the city authorities. The President Rolando Giovannini, the Drei family, Muky, the architect Paolo Rava (who takes care of the preparation of the exhibition) and Roberta Savolini will also take part. The Arches Ensemble of the Sarti Music School and Maestro Paolo Zinzani will be present with their own musical moment. The reception will be curated by Luana Paola Mazza and Delvio Biserni. The exhibition will remain open until Sunday, April 14th, every day from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm. Some curiosities: of the 33 participating countries (Argentina; Austria; Belgium; Brazil; Canada; Chile; Croatia; Denmark; Ecuador; Estonia; Finland; France; Germany; Japan; Greece; India; Italy; Mexico; Norway; Netherlands; Poland ; Portugal; United Kingdom; Romania; Russia; Serbia; Spain; Sweden; Turkey; USA; Hungary; Uruguay and Venezuela), after Italy, Russia has the largest representation with its 32 artists. Turkey (16), Argentina (10), Brazil (10), Spain (9), U.S.A (9) and Serbia (8) follow.
