Fabrizia Tocchini, "artist on the go"
Beginning of September 2006, Cortereggio, part of the municipality of San Giorgio
Canavese, Fabrizia Tocchini has exposed some thirty works collected in his first
personal painting preceded by positive reports of important artists and critics
recent successes.
In the works on display reveal the sweetness and roundness of the stroke, the mastery
colors and shapes that make up the multitude of subjects addressed by the artist;
are wonderful zodiac signs painted on ceramic plates, where you can recognize
technical perfection of the best illuminators and provide for a future Tocchini
professional success.
This work, however, belongs to the distant past of Fabrizia and, for many years has it
taken up. Much time spent without producing, mortifying artistic skills
deliberately unspoken, a time now instead chasing Tocchini, producing jet
continuous work from which emerges the need to express themselves, to know the world and
interpreting it be known, but especially to learn about herself.
A flood Fabrizia, not just symbolic irony contained within the "Step
Ogre in Cortereggio ", donated to the local community, but also in the number and
variety of work performed. Is measured with talent in portrait and figure, recovers
formations of the landscape and town centers, interprets symbolically and imaginatively
inanimate objects giving the humanity of those who use them, revisits the subjects of tradition
nineteenth century northern European painting while maintaining the same atmosphere conferred by
time, and finally introduces their feelings within some works that capture the
sign and achieve emotional balance between the artist and the observer.
One of these is the clown who lives in "sad note", it is not only a clear
demonstration of ability expressed strokes safe reclining on a background tone
good idea, but is instead through communicative joy, sorrow, happiness, sadness.
Everything that has always bound the character emotional universe circus common that
many artists have faced and that Fabrizio has penetrated deep within without meeting
defenses.
Another work intense and "Dream of a prisoner" which describes a world of intimate and
unfortunately difficult to perceive depth in its totality and completeness, a world from
which emerge the themes of women, however, addressed in other works
incurred by Tocchini, and freedom, represented in the escape of two outstretched hands of
man or another, and the wings of a butterfly painted on the face of a woman.
Figure, landscape, still life, symbolism and emotional symbolism fantastic
fabulous, thanks to the special issues that can not be attributed pictorial sign
generally to an expressive form of new figures or hyper-traditional;
a painting that of Fabrizia Tocchini ranging in a sea boundless and that only
sometimes recognizes quiet stretches of coast where I can express the maximum
intensity within.
The journey of Fabrizia is ongoing, has not yet found the island and the port on which to stop
to affirm a personal artistic representation that will make it unique
recognizable to others, if they so wished. A journey that could still be
long and marked by the desire to continuously learn and experiment.
Perhaps, sometimes, could instead stay protected from quiet places, to observe the
world to play through the filter of self-portraits that interrogate the deep soul.
